Commission a Custom Piece

I love working directly with you on custom pieces to tailor fit a specific space. If you are interested in having a piece commissioned, please contact me directly at hello@juliarosenthal.com.

To start, please show me a couple of completed artworks from my website that you like, and we can do something similar.

You can also provide swatches of paint, textiles, measurements, and images of the surfaces in the surrounding area, and we can make sure to create harmony.

Commission Terms & Conditions

You will communicate directly with me via email and/or call to determine painting size, composition, nature of the piece, and frame choice.

Final pricing will be quoted to you, including the piece, framing, and shipping/delivery if necessary.

Commissions will be paid 100% up front. Please be aware of your estimated delivery timelines: after payment is received, commissions will take 4-6 weeks to complete.

I will have two check-ins with you to share the progress of the piece.

When possible–This option depends on the materials and nature of the artwork*: After I've completed the piece, you will have the opportunity for up to two revisions of the artwork. (*Please remember, depending on the nature of the materials, revisions may/or may not be possible. For example, paintings and collages can be revised by painting a new layer on top, but, ink on paper drawings cannot be revised, because the ink is permanent and cannot be erased or layered on top of.) At the beginning of our discussion, I will make it clear if your piece will be eligible for a revision round. If no revision round is possible for your piece, in order to continue the commission, you will agree that there will be no opportunity for revisions and that it is not possible for a new piece, nor an alternate version, to be made for you.

Once approved, the piece will be delivered to you within 2 weeks.

Commissions are final sale.
